You know, when I saw this as a lad at its initial theatrical release, I enjoyed it as much then as now, even though I'd been making my own kites for several years by then and immediately saw the critical flaw in the kids' kite that would keep it from ever flying in the real world. *heh*
I still like this scene.

As a 26 year adult, I still cry at the end when Mary has to leave. I mean come on she looks so sad that she has to leave, without even saying goodbye. But I guess everything does turn out for the better, Mr. Banks now has a better relationship with his children.
